My Position on Corporate Cash Donations and My Promise to Never Accept Corporate Donations
It's not just a belief that some members in Congress are crooks, it's a fact. Multiple Congressmen have recently been convicted of violating the public's trust. Probabaly just a small percentage of the guilty have been exposed in my opinion. Take the corporate campaign cash out of the equation, and the people will be served by law makers that are beholden to the taxpayer, not the "highest bidder".

I am 100 percent convinced that virtually all of the repulsive ways that politicians waste your hard-earned tax dollars can be traced to the campaign contributions that they so freely take. I promise and pledge that I will never take any campaign funds from corporations.
Corporations don't just throw their money down a sewer for no reason. They have boards of directors, stockholders, and auditors to worry about. Let’s look at one of the biggest corporate donors in America, Goldman Sachs. In the 2008 election cycle alone they reported with regulators (FEC) that they donated roughly $3,750,000 to senators and congressmen. Did they get anything back in return? Well, they got approximately $10,000,000,000 from the government in "bailout funds" and another $10,000,000,000 from the government’s black hole shell called AIG. The $10,000,000,000 to AIG will never be repaid as it's structured as "insurance." Was this all a coincidence? You decide. I already have.
Let’s apply common sense to this mess for a minute or two. Do you actually believe that if XYZ Corporation gives $50,000 to a politician, they are doing it out of benevolence? Do you think they expect something back in return? Do you think for one minute that any of these politicians that take this money are ever capable of making an objective decision in this firm? This is exactly why corporate money must be removed from the political process.
